Thank you for choosing us to care for your dog! Please read the following policies carefully. These are in place to ensure a safe and smooth experience for everyone. You’ll be asked to sign a copy in the salon at your first appointment.

1. No Show / Late Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours may be charged in full, as it may not be possible to fill the slot on short notice.
2. Aggressive Dog Policy
If a dog displays aggressive behaviour, the groom may be stopped for safety reasons. The full grooming fee will still apply. We will advise you on next steps or alternative options for grooming.
3. Elderly Dog Policy
If your dog is elderly or becomes too stressed or unwell to continue, we reserve the right to end the groom early. The full fee will still apply. We will discuss any concerns and suggest the best path forward.
4. Large/Giant Dog Policy
We are a solo grooming operation. If your dog is large, giant breed, or known to be difficult to handle, please inform us before booking. If a groom can’t be completed due to manageability, you may still be charged in full.
5. Early/Late Drop Offs
Please arrive on time. We have limited space and work to a carefully scheduled day. Early drop-offs without agreement and late arrivals may result in the appointment being cancelled and charged in full.
6. Flea Policy
If fleas are detected before the groom, the session may be cancelled and a £20 flea cleaning charge will apply. If fleas are found during the groom, the appointment will be completed and the £20 charge added to cover disinfecting time.
7. Matting Policy
The dog’s welfare comes first. Small tangles can be removed, but extensive matting will be clipped short for the dog’s safety. This may be shorter than the owner’s preference. We are not responsible for injuries or bruising caused by matting. Severe matting may incur a surcharge of up to £30.
8. Accident Policy
While we take great care, grooming live animals can occasionally result in accidents. If something does occur, we will contact you immediately and provide first aid. If veterinary attention is needed, we require a vet report to proceed with any compensation discussions.
9. Photos & Social Media
We love sharing before-and-after photos on our social media. Let us know if you’d prefer your dog not be featured.
10. Medical Conditions & Allergies
Please inform us of any known medical conditions, sensitivities, or allergies before the appointment.
11. Multiple Dogs Policy
If you’re bringing more than one dog from the same household, we cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by the dogs to each other while in our care.
